Pocahontas scarf

The incredible feather pattern of Tejiendo Perú is so popular, but many people wonder what to do with them besides using them in dream catchers or book markers. A lovely girl named Rosena Beatty commented me the idea of used them in a scarf instead of tassels, I loved the idea so I started to work immediately. First I chose the stitches and the colors, then while I was crocheting I could not stop thinking about Pocahontas. So, call this pattern: "Pocahontas Scarf".

Fasten off and weave the ends.

Make as many feathers as you like. Written instructions for large size here, medium and small sizes here. I made 3 in small size using the same 4 color of the scarf with a 3mm hook.

I used jump rings to attach the feathers to the scarf, it give more movility to the feathers but you can sew them as well. I put 1 feather in the center of the row 7 and 1 feather with 4 "V" of distance from the center on each side in the row 6. Also i put some fringes to each side of the scarf.
